37 WEEKS

We are about to wrap this 2nd pregnancy up over here and I realized I've been awful on blogging my updates. AWFUL! This last week has been one for the books. Obviously I had a couple of magical days up in Asheville and THANK GOODNESS because our house has been without air conditioning since LAST MONDAY!

Apparently we are getting the new unit put in today and I just really hope so. I'm not sure how much more of this I can stand. I will NEVER take AC for granted ever again. EVER!

Today our little Aiden started Pre-K too. It makes me a little emotional on top of it all. We're so proud of what a happy little guy he is and I'm so thankful for his happy disposition. I can not believe he'll be FIVE in a little over a month.

Weeks: 37 Weeks

Cravings: Nothing really. Frankly, I'm running out of room for too much food. Also, my brain is so fuzzy the last few days I can't make any decisions related to food. I do manage to sneak in my sweets every day though :)

Maternity Clothes: That time is coming to say farewell to maternity clothes and hello to muffin top concealment once again. It's been fun. I'm kind of bummed to say so long to these outfits. I bought some great staples and I rarely have to put any thought into what I'm going to wear. It's been nice. Looking back at pictures I've also realized I wear quite a lot of Black...and hats! I'll be sure to follow this post up with some of the staples I purchased this time around. They have REALLY seen me through from the beginning and I love all of them. I'll be packing these away for my sister one day (wink, wink..nudge nudge).

Sleep: Non-Air Conditioned sleep is for the birds. THE BIRDS! And for those who know me...I hate birds! Our dear friends loaned us a room unit so the little guy and I have been snuggling up over the weekend. The poor hubby has taken the manly stance and toughed it out. God bless him! I'd be crying. The dog I'm sure hates life right now too.

Miss anything: Energy! It's really taken a nose dive the last week and I am just ready to feel like myself again. Oh, and tequila. ;)

Movement: I picture baby girl like Ronald Miller at the dance in "Can't Buy Me Love" (one of my most favorite movies EVER)spiking the punch bowl and shouting "Let's DANCE!!!" She is moving all of the time. Kicks to the ribs seem to be one of her favorite moves. I love to dance but this is starting to get real. Real painful.

High of the Week: Well, the high of last week was Asheville! Hands down. Outside of that I haven't felt the greatest. A little dehydrated maybe? I don't know. I can't think when I'm hot! Blagh!

Most Excited about: D-Day! Let's do this! I'm ready to meet her. I've actually really enjoyed this pregnancy. I think having Aiden already and knowing what is to come has given me a whole new perspective. I'll enjoy the last few days (hopefully days) but I am really excited to see her.

  1. Wow. That was a tough break and just as when you'd most need your air conditioning the most. Sad that that happened and you had to lament losing your A/C at a very inopportune time. Hope you snap one up soon. At least, that opens you up to far better deals and purchase,. a- far as air conditioning is concerned. Take care!

  2. It was a lesson learned the hard way, yes? With the new baby in your house, it’s advisable to have preventive checkups on your HVAC unit, to prevent hassles like that. Anyway, I do hope you were able to install the new AC unit before your baby was born. Take care!
